So we have finally decided that we are just going to move to North Carolina to wait with Luke to be stationed somewhere...I just hope that they just have him stay there so that we wouldn't have to move again! We are hoping that we can still get reimbursed for our move since we have not been given orders to move, if not then that's ok....next time we move we can be compensated because we will have a better idea of what we are doing! I just hope that we can stay there in Fayetteville long enough for me to finish up my dental hygiene program that I still haven't applied for so who knows if I would even get in on time. I am hoping to start Fall 2011...this fall I am going to be taking 5 classes or so just to be able to apply for it! It is going to be an intense semester but in the long run it would be totally worth it!!

The kids ask me everyday to see their daddy and to go to the pool with daddy....it just breaks my heart a little each time they ask and I have to tell them that in a week and a half they will see him but they never understand that. Aitius asks for daddy every night before going to bed and I just hate it that they have gone so long without seeing him but it really is going to be here before we know it!! June 30th is when we are driving out! It is going to be about a 2 day trip driving about 10 hours a day!! Luckily though, I will have my mom and her friend to help me out with the long drive!! Oh I am so not looking forward to that but I am looking forward to be able to see Luke everyday!! During the week he can only come home for dinner and he has to go back to the barracks but on the weekend he can stay the night with us. This craziness has to happen right now because he is not stationed anywhere so they have to keep track of him as much as possible. Once he is stationed he will be able to sleep at home everynight which would be great for me and the kids!! well till next time.....

You know I've been thinking, how in the world am I going to handle things when Luke is gone overseas?!? I'm having a hard time with him being gone now and he is in the states still! I am going to be a nervous wreck whenever he has to be deployed! I don't like it at all that he will have to go over there but that is what happens when you sign up with the military at times like these! We have no choice now! I just hope that maybe I can be done with school by the time he has to go out so that I will be working and the kids will be in school and that would keep our days completely busy....the night time is when things will be hard for me going to bed alone night after night while my husband is out doing God knows what! I will just have to pray extra hard for him and his platoon to be as safe as possible. Luke was telling me that some of his buddies are not being shipped out till 2012, so I hope that we get to be one of those lucky ones to wait that long.....Oh, today Luke got to demonstrate for a training video for the special forces!!! How exciting is that?!?! He will get to be a star for a few short minutes!! hahahahaha........well I have to go take care of Vannah right now....she did not take a nap and she is cranky!! eeeeee....till next time!!!

Still waiting

So for those of you who knows my family, we are still waiting for Luke to get his unit assigned to him! I feel like we have been waiting for months and months but really, I think we have been waiting for a month maybe a month and a half. Yeah it is no fun not knowing where in the world he will be station because I just want to move closer to him already! The kids have not seen him for 3 months now and they are starting to complain about it. But I have to admit, they are doing way better than me! I'm just trying to hang in there and some days are better than others.

Well I guess maybe I should do an introduction of our family, I really have never done this before but I figured it would be a good way to get things off my chest. So Luke and I met in high school and I guess you could call us high school sweethearts but we dated on and off for years before we finally settled down. Even then it was not like things came easy for us. We had a kid before getting married, her name is Savannah, she is 3 and an excellent dancer!! I have never ever regretted having her before getting married!! She is such a great little girl!! Oh and Luke and I have been married for 3 and a half years!! Man how time flies!! So then when Vannah was about 4 months old I got pregnant with Aitius and he is 2 and a half now and he is such a cute little kid!! I really love my little family so much and I wish Luke could be a part of it already!! The army is so slow in stationing him! He hasn't lived with us since October 2009!! So 8 months now!!! WOW! How I hate that with a passion. But the army has done Luke a whole lot of good, I would not regret our decision in him going! It literally saved out marriage so for that I will always be thankful and also for the fact that it has provided for us in every way possible!! Well enough for now....till next time!
